Species information

Diuris chrysantha   D.L.Jones & M.A.Clem.

This native groundcover is commonly known as double yellow tails.

Diuris chrysantha is described as a "monocot" in the Orchidaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

No longer recognised as occurring in the Fraser Coast region (Graham Corbin). Previous records reassigned to Diuris unica See discussion at https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/389469879. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
