Species information

Drosera spatulata var. spatulata   Labill.

This native groundcover is commonly known as spoon-leaf sundew.

Drosera spatulata var. spatulata is described as a "dicot" in the Droseraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

The most common variety. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 5 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum Heads, Tuan Forest, Walligan, Boonooroo Plains, Talegalla Weir.
