One record from Happy Valley, K'gari (Fraser Island) (probably late 1800's). Wide distribution across northern and eastern australia. Also north-east of Gympie. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 7 Fraser Coast localities: Tinnanbar, Maaroom, Tuan Forest, Burrum Heads, Maryborough West, Boonooroo Plains, Beelbi Creek.
