Species information

Rhodamnia Zombi     I.J.Paxton, Fensham & Guymer

This native tree is commonly known as rhodamnia.

Rhodamnia Zombi is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Domatia at base of abaxial leaf surface between lateral vein and midrib. https://www.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0012/630030/paxton-fensham-guymer-rhodamnia.pdf. Includes plants previously assigned to Rhodamnia pauciovulata and the informal name Rhodamnia sp. Glastonbury. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
