Species information

Harpullia hillii     F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as blunt-leaved tulip.

Harpullia hillii is described as a "dicot" in the Sapindaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Fruiting Mt Bauple late October 2024 (Jan Mortimer). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 16 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Bidwill, Burrum Heads, Duckinwilla, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Gigoomgan, Howard, Magnolia, Mount Urah, Point Vernon, River Heads, St Mary, Takura, Teddington, Toogoom.
