Species information

Aidia racemosa     (Cav.) Tirveng.

This native tree is commonly known as archer cherry.

Aidia racemosa is described as a "dicot" in the Rubiaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Reported at Sawmill Road Dundowran Beach (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/66994260) which is the southern limit according to Gwen Harden, Hugh Nicholson, Bill McDonald, Nan Nicholson, Terry Tame, John Williams. 2014. Rainforest Plants of Australia. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
