Previously known as Oldenlandia galioides (Queensland Flora Census 2020).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 11 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Boompa, Burrum Heads, Doongul, Maryborough West, Mount Urah, Sunshine Acres, Talegalla Weir, Tiaro, Tuan Forest, Yengarie.
