Species information

Teucrium argutum     R.Br.

This native groundcover is commonly known as native germander.

Teucrium argutum is described as a "dicot" in the Lamiaceae family.

Flagged as a potential locally significant species in the Fraser Coast Region. In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region. Recorded at Mt Kanigan. Reported at Yengarie, Bauple and Glenwood. More common to the south of the region. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Bauple, Glenwood, Tuan Forest, Yengarie.
