Species information

Thysanotus tuberosus subsp. tuberosus     R.Br.

This native groundcover is commonly known as fringe lily.

Thysanotus tuberosus subsp. tuberosus is described as a "monocot" in the Laxmanniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Boonooroo Plains, Burrum Heads, Duckinwilla, Howard, K'gari, Maryborough, Sunshine Acres, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Tuan Forest, Walliebum, Walligan.
