Species information

Apowollastonia spilanthoides     (F.Muell.) Orchard

This native groundcover is commonly known as rock daisy.

Apowollastonia spilanthoides is described as a "dicot" in the Asteraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Recorded at North Aramara in the Fraser Coast region and just outside at Mt Walsh. https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/259039443 Widespread elsewhere in Queensland.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
